Who we are

What information we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you use the Book a Visit, Book a Taster Day or Make a Referral forms on this site. Depending on the form, this can include:

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• The name and contact details of the person you're enquiring or referring on behalf of.
• Information about a person's support needs, health, disability, mobility, communication or dietary requirements — this is "special category data" under UK GDPR, and we only collect it where it's relevant to arranging a safe, appropriate visit or placement.
• Referrer details, such as organisation and professional role.

We do not use cookies or analytics tools that track you across this website.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, arrange visits and taster days, and process referrals. Our legal basis for ordinary contact details is that it's necessary to take steps at your request before entering into an arrangement with us (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

Where a form asks about health, disability or support needs, we rely on your explicit consent to share that information with us (Article 9(2)(a)), or, for referrals made by a professional on someone's behalf, the condition for the provision of health or social care (Article 9(2)(h)).

How your information reaches us

These forms are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, which securely delivers your submission to OMAS by email. Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf; its own privacy policy is available at formspree.io. We do not sell or share your information with any other third party for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and referral information for as long as necessary to respond to you, arrange your visit, or maintain a record of the referral, and in line with any record-keeping requirements that apply to OMAS's care provision. We delete information that's no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Ask us to delete your information, where applicable.
• Object to or restrict how we use your information.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is our basis for processing.
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information.
