Meals, Transport & Fees

The practical things made simple.

We want coming to OMAS to feel straightforward from the beginning. From enjoying lunch together to getting here and understanding the cost, we'll make sure you and your family know what to expect. If you have any questions, just ask — we're always happy to talk things through.

Meals at OMAS

Good food. Good company.
Time together.

Lunch is more than just a meal at OMAS. It's a chance to sit together, have a chat, enjoy good food and share one of the nicest parts of the day.

Meals and refreshments are planned to make everyone feel welcome and included. We can discuss dietary requirements, allergies, cultural preferences and any enhanced support someone may need around eating and drinking before they start.

Getting to OMAS

Making your journey
easier.

We know that transport can be an important part of choosing a day service. Some people travel independently. Others are brought by family or carers, while some may need help arranging transport. Whatever works best for you, we can talk it through.

Transport options include:

Family drop-off and collection
Independent travel
Arranged transport
Pick-up and drop-off options where available
Please talk to us about where you live and any support you may need when travelling.
Fees

Simple and clear
from the beginning.

Families should know exactly what they are paying for before someone starts at OMAS. We will explain the daily attendance fee, what is included and whether there may be any additional costs.

Daily attendance
Meals and refreshments
Activities included within the day
Transport, where arranged
Additional outings or special activities
Any enhanced support requirements
Funding your day at OMAS

There may be different ways
to pay for attending OMAS.

Some people pay privately, while others may be able to use funding arranged through adult social care. Depending on individual circumstances, this could include:

Self-funding
Direct Payments
Personal Budgets
Local Authority funding

If you already have a social worker or care professional involved, we are happy to speak with them about a referral. If you're unsure where to start, talk to us — we can explain the options available.

There should be no surprises. We will discuss everything clearly before attendance begins.

Planning around you

The little details
matter.

Before someone starts, we take time to understand the practical things that can make their day more comfortable.

This could include dietary requirements, mobility, communication, transport arrangements, personal preferences and any enhanced support needs.

The little details matter because they can make a big difference to someone's day.
