Who OMAS is for.
Everyone comes to OMAS for a different reason. You might want to meet new people, get out more, enjoy activities, build confidence or simply have somewhere friendly to look forward to. You don't have to fit into a particular box. We start by getting to know you.
People shouldn't be defined by their age, disability or diagnosis. We want to understand the person first.
Everyone is looking for something different
from their day.

A Good Day
It doesn't always need to be about achieving something. Having a lovely day, sharing a laugh and enjoying good company matters too.
More company. More to enjoy.
More to look forward to.
OMAS is a welcoming place to spend the day, meet people and enjoy good company.
Whether you enjoy a chat over a cup of tea, music, cooking, getting out and about or simply being around other people, we want you to have something to enjoy and look forward to.

Be yourself. Make choices.
Try new things.
Come to OMAS to make friends, enjoy your interests, try new things and build confidence.

You don't need to fit into OMAS.
We want to understand how OMAS can work for you.

There is no single OMAS day.
Your day. Your choices. Your pace.
One person might spend the morning cooking and the afternoon out in the community. Someone else might enjoy music, lunch with friends and a quieter afternoon. Another person might be developing everyday skills, exercising or trying something completely new.
You choose how involved you want to be.
Your day. Your choices. Your pace.
Support Without
Taking Over
Helping when needed. Encouraging independence whenever possible.
Some people need very little support during their day. Others may have enhanced needs and require more assistance. Our approach is to provide the right level of support while encouraging people to make choices, use their abilities and maintain or develop independence.
We support the person — we don’t take over their day.
